Show where the assets came from
ACPRβs published digital-asset guidance describes provenance evidence such as purchase records, dated provider statements and transaction hashes. It is useful background for understanding why a financial intermediary may ask about more than the most recent sale. Its older PSAN terminology should not be confused with a current provider authorisation check.
Prepare a chronological narrative of the assetβs acquisition and subsequent movements. Attach records to each stage and distinguish earned income, purchases, gifts and rewards. When information is missing, state the gap and the steps taken to retrieve it rather than presenting an unsupported conclusion.
Connect the bank and wallet records
Match the original euro transfer to the exchange deposit and purchase, then connect later withdrawals and sales. Explain fee differences and changes in asset quantities. A clean reconciliation allows the reviewer to understand how the current bank payment relates to the earlier investment history.
For a business, show separately the operating account, customer-fund arrangements and settlement counterparties. Identify the legal entities involved and their responsibilities. Ask whether the proposed bank account supports those actual flows, instead of assuming an account opened for ordinary expenses also supports customer settlement.
Discuss the route before scaling it
Ask the institution which documents and explanations it expects for the planned activity and payment size. Confirm supported counterparties and escalation channels. Retain the response with your evidence file, while recognising that transaction review and account acceptance remain institution-specific decisions.
Refresh the file when the provider, business model or expected volumes change. Keep tax records and provenance records consistent, but recognise that they answer different questions. Do not send recovery phrases or private keys; a bank enquiry requires evidence of transactions and ownership, not the ability to spend your crypto.
Sources & scope
Official sources support the jurisdiction context. The working checklists are CryptoGovβs editorial preparation suggestions, not an exhaustive application or filing requirement. Confirm the rules and your circumstances before acting.
