How it works
Zcash supports transparent and shielded payment activity. What an observer can inspect depends on the pools involved. Before reconciling an invoice, determine what evidence your receiving wallet can supply and which details a public explorer can independently show.
Worked example
A customer provides a transaction ID for a shielded payment. The invoice team expects an explorer to display its address and exact amount. Start instead with the receiving wallet’s transaction history and match the incoming payment to the invoice.
What to verify
Record the receipt with access appropriate to the information disclosed. An explorer omitting shielded details is insufficient grounds to mark a payment missing.
