Stellar (XLM)
Identify an asset by its issuer as well as its code.

How it works
XLM is native to Stellar. Other classic assets on the network have an asset code and an issuing account. Two issuers can choose the same code. A wallet displaying a familiar currency label therefore leaves one part of the asset identity unresolved.
Worked example
A customer offers to settle an invoice in a dollar-denominated Stellar asset. Compare the issuing account with the asset specified in the agreement. Check that the receiving account has the required trustline before requesting payment.
What to verify
For XLM, look for the native asset designation. For an issued asset, record both code and issuer with the transaction hash.
