How it works
Staked DOT may need to pass through an unbonding process before it becomes transferable. A wallet’s overall balance can include funds in different states.
Worked example
If a payment is due this week, open the staking view and inspect the unlock schedule before counting bonded funds toward it.
What to verify
Check the staking method, transferable balance and any remaining withdrawal step in your interface.
