How it works
PAXG links each token to one fine troy ounce of allocated gold. A fractional token therefore represents a fraction of an ounce, while a local bullion quote may use grams.
Worked example
A wallet holding 0.25 PAXG represents a quarter of a fine troy ounce, about 7.78 grams. Compare prices in the same currency and unit before including fees.
What to verify
Check the issuer’s allocation information and redemption terms separately from a dealer’s buyback quote.
