Midnight (NIGHT)
Distinguish ownership from the resource used for network activity.
CoinMarketCap rank #74 · 1 November 2026
How it works
Midnight distinguishes NIGHT, its transferable token, from DUST, a resource used for transactions. The wallet’s token balance and its available transaction capacity describe different things.
Worked example
Before scheduling repeated transactions, inspect both balances and estimate the resource required for the planned operations.
What to verify
Check the wallet’s current DUST availability immediately before submitting a batch.
