Kaspa (KAS)
Distinguish a payment output from wallet change.
CoinMarketCap rank #63 · 1 November 2026
How it works
Kaspa uses unspent transaction outputs. A transfer can consume a larger input, pay the recipient and return the remainder to a change address controlled by the sender.
Worked example
A wallet spending a 100 KAS input to pay 12 KAS may return nearly 88 KAS as change. Only the payment and network fee reduce the sender’s holdings.
What to verify
Match the recipient output and fee before entering the full input as an expense.
