How it works
Applications on the Internet Computer run in canisters. Cycles pay for computation and storage. An ICP balance in a developer’s wallet is separate from the cycles available to a canister.
Worked example
If an application approaches its resource limit, inspect the specific canister’s cycle balance and consumption rate rather than checking only the team wallet.
What to verify
Record the canister ID and verify the top-up reached that canister.
