How it works
Submitting an order specifies a price boundary. The amount executed depends on matching liquidity, and a remainder can stay open after an initial fill.
Worked example
If an order for 10 units fills only 4, calculate the trade value from those 4 and inspect whether the remaining 6 are still resting or cancelled.
What to verify
Use fill records for booked trades and open-order records for outstanding exposure.
