Identify where a balance is held before funding an application.

How it works
Hyperliquid includes HyperCore and HyperEVM. HYPE serves as the native gas token on HyperEVM. When an application asks for collateral or gas, identify the environment it uses before interpreting a balance shown elsewhere in the ecosystem.
Worked example
A user sees funds in a trading interface, then opens an EVM wallet to submit a contract call. Verify the network, the EVM account’s native balance and the application’s instructions. A trading balance on its own does not establish that gas is available for that call.
What to verify
Record the environment and action alongside any transaction reference. Keep trade confirmations separate from EVM execution receipts.
