How it works
Canton Coin relates to the Global Synchronizer infrastructure. Applications can use the network for workflows involving other assets. A CC-denominated cost and the principal exchanged in a business transaction represent different quantities.
Worked example
A report describes a tokenised asset trade and also lists a synchronisation cost. Before adding the figures, identify the unit of each amount, the payer and the service received. A network fee cannot establish the market value of the asset exchanged.
What to verify
Identify which records each participant can inspect. For a private workflow, obtain the relevant confirmation from an authorised participant rather than assuming a public view contains every term.
