How it works
AAVE is the governance token. A borrower’s liquidation exposure depends on the collateral, debt and parameters of the lending market they use.
Worked example
If a proposal changes a collateral threshold, look up the affected asset and market. Holding AAVE does not tell you whether your loan is affected.

Compare the executed proposal with the health factor displayed for your own position.
